On July 28, 2015, the Technical Committee on Culture organized its inaugural event, “Our Music Under the Moonlight,” featuring a concert by a music group composed of Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots called “Kyprogenia” at the historic Othello Tower in Famagusta. This concert aimed to promote cultural events that bring the Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots closer together.

Open to the public, “Our Music Under the Moonlight” provided a unique opportunity for around 700 people from both sides of the island to come together and enjoy an evening of music in a historic setting.
