Violinist Nihat Ağdaç was born in 1986 in Mağusa. He began his musical education at the age of six and gave his first violin concert at the age of twelve. He graduated with honors from Fine Arts Middle School, Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory, the Royal Academy of Music, and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Ağdaç has performed numerous orchestra, solo, and chamber music concerts across Cyprus, Europe, Asia, and America. As a founding member and concertmaster of the Turkish Cypriot Leadership Orchestra, he also co-founded the bicommunal Cyprus Chamber Orchestra with oboist Natalie Neofitu, fostering collaboration between Turkish and Greek Cypriots. Since 2023, he has been a member of the second violin section of the BBC Symphony Orchestra and continues his work in London.
