Hatice Tezcan is an accomplished actor, playwright, director, and artist with extensive experience in theater and film. She graduated from Bilkent University (Acting, 2002), Arucad (Plastic Arts, 2022), and completed her master’s in Children’s Theater at NEU (2009). She has acted in nearly 30 plays and directed numerous children’s and amateur productions. Tezcan starred in first 35 mm film Anahtar and participated in prestigious festivals, including the Oscars in Tokyo (2016) and the Antalya Golden Orange Cinema Festival. Her short film Random Attempts earned numerous awards globally. As an artist, her works have been exhibited in Cyprus and Türkiye, and she illustrated Women’s Stories from Cyprus and Beyond, a resource for children. She also pioneered storytelling and drama projects in Turkish Cypriot primary schools, recorded narrations of Cypriot authors’ works, and continues to inspire audiences with her multifaceted talents.
