
Ferdiye Ersoy
Co-Chair
Dr.Ferdiye Ersoy, is an academician and an expert in education with over 25 years of experience. She graduated from the University of London Institute of Education with an MA in Language and Education. She completed her PhD in Applied Linguistics from Aston University, and worked as a Language and Gender Equality ‘Visiting Fellow’ for one year at Oxford University.
Dr.Ferdiye Ersoy represented Turkish Cypriots abroad many times as Honorary Cultural Attaché for France as well as during her voluntary work and professional career.
Dr. Ersoy carried out many projects within the scope of the CQUALS Language School which she founded in 2010, in cooperation with institutions such as l’Institut Français de Chypre, British Council, European Commission Representative Office in Cyprus, Committee for Missing Persons. Dr. Ersoy founded the International French School by CQuals in 2022.
Dr.Ferdiye Ersoy was named a Chevalier of the Ordre des Palmes Académiques by the French government in 2018. The award was presented for her extraordinary contribution and devotion to education and culture.
She was appointed as the TC Co-Chair of the TCC in November 2021.
