Technical Committee on Culture
 
The Committee aims to increase interdependence and people-to-people contact amongst the two sides through cultural events.

The mandate of the Technical Committee on Culture is to promote cultural events that could bring the Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots closer together.  The mandate was given by the two leaders during their joint meeting on 15 May 2015.

It was announced in a statement delivered by the Special Adviser of the Secretary-General on Cyprus Mr. Espen Barth Eide on behalf of the Greek Cypriot leader Mr. Nicos Anastasiades and the Turkish Cypriot leader Mr. Mustafa Akıncı.
