Antigoni Solomonidou Droussiotou is an artist photographer – journalist. She studied “Documentary Photography” at Gwent College of Higher Education in Newport, Wales, under the guidance of Magnum Agency photographer David Hurn. She has made 18 solo exhibitions in Cyprus, Switzerland, Greece, Germany, Brussels at European Commission and European Council, United Nations in New York and Capitol in Washington. She represented Cyprus in international biennales and exhibitions. She has won three international awards and has published six photographic books. Her photographs are in private collections all over the world. She worked as journalist for Fileleftheros Media Group and at “Radio Super” – the first private radio station in Cyprus–. She has collaborated with the television of RIK Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, the Athenian magazine ENA and the s-magazine of the Greek newspaper “O Επενδυτής”. She is Co-Chair of Technical Committee for Culture and member of the Board of Directors of the Theatrical Museum of Cyprus. She served on the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Theatre Organization, the Evagoras Lanitis Centre and the Rialto Theatre in Limassol.
